The judges all agree that the X3 feels like a hatch to drive and some even said that it felt like a hot hatch.
It really is the perfect family car for those looking for something a little bit more upmarket than your average SUV.
While it is still a pretty big car, it’s a mid-sized SUV, it doesn’t feel like that at all. It’s easy to place on the road. The transmission is really well calibrated. It doesn’t feel big and boisterous like you’d think. It’s not intimidating to drive at all.
The X3 has it all. It’s super fun and engaging to drive. It’s got plenty of tech and safety. It has plenty of boot space in the back. It’s really comfortable. It’s a really nice place to sit. You’ve got a really good view of the road ahead. It’s an absolute cracker.
Classy, comfortable, and capable, the BMW X3 deserves its Highly Commended award in this year’s CarSales Car of the Year.
